Gua Tempurung （椰壳洞 - 霹雳） @ Ipoh

I & my friends (2 cars – 7 people) drove 2 cars all the way from Kuala Lumpur to Gua Tempurung, somewhere in Lembah Tempurung near Gopeng, Perak, Malaysia. It is about 25 KM to the south of Ipoh, the capital of the state of Perak.

Gua Tempurung is a dark cave, torchlight is required. There is some underground river that reaches chest level, get prepared to be wet.

We took tour 4: Grand Tour, a complete journey of about 3.8KM from the entrance to Golden Flowstone, Top of the World and the end of the cave (East) and return through the underground river.

These kind of activities, have to make sure get ready for few things:
suit correctly, battery backup due to long and dark journey

焰口施食

中国寺院目前流行的放焰口仪式是明清两代逐渐形成的。首先，举行焰口施食法，应该于戊、亥二时（晚上七时至十时），因为过此时间，鬼则不得食。瑜伽焰口的仪式，最底限度需要有三位出家人，一般都是七位法师，一位主法，头戴x卢帽，坐在瑜伽坛的中间，别六位分别坐在两侧，分别司掌木鱼、铛子、x子、引馨、钟鼓法器，这称为一大士。另外，还有称为三大士，既有三位主法坐在中间，每一位主法都诵一遍真言，这样三大士的放焰口时间比一大士的时间长稍一点。

放瑜伽焰口需要三个坛。即主坛、面然大士坛，灵坛。主坛是施食法会的中心坛，一般设在佛殿或大雄宝殿的中间，案土摆有观音菩萨像、供品等，在中间的主法面前准备有米及水，这些米和水既是给鬼神施食的东西，据说可以凭着佛力及真言的力量，通过主法者的观想力，这些米与水都成为上好饮食及甘露，使诸鬼神得到满足。灵既是普通人说的灵位或超荐位。
